The budding managers are the fresh victims of the hard faced, tight scheduled, target oriented work life. They are not acclimatized to handle work stress thereby tending to forget happiness or when they laughed last. They become the prey of alcoholism and other injurious habits. Why can't they be oriented towards the quality of life through enlightening them towards the perspectives of happiness? Once they imbibe the spirit of being happy, they would tend to put the worries out of their mind and start loving the targets and deadlines. They would embrace happiness and lead the life of complacency.
Though happiness is much discussed about subject, as for some, independence is happiness, for some, contentment is happiness, for some, accomplishment is happiness, for some, money is happiness, for some, fulfillment of desire is happiness. How can one define that emotion that can only be felt and not explained? How can one define inner peace and tranquility? Many people commit the mistake of believing that they don't deserve happiness and accept their unhappy state as their destiny. Certain practices adopted by me as well as my acquaintances have been enlightening our lives and showering happiness, one can simply embrace happiness by implementing the following into their lives. The budding managers will be benefited through unveiling the horizon of happiness and reducing their stress.
1) Become patient in one moment of anger, you will avoid one hundred days of sorrow.
2) Work hard as it creates enormous personal satisfaction. When you have finished certain tasks you will feel that you are capable to accomplish things. And that will help to have a sense of value about ourselves.
3) Practice Time Management. It is basically a list of rules. And the rules of it can help us to waste less time. First we have to set our goals, then we need to plan them, we have to make our To Do lists and we need to prioritize them. If you use these basic skills you will be able to work through and finish your list on a daily basis, which will help you to experience feelings of happiness and contentment.
4) Endeavor to learn something new everyday as learning is an enriching exercise, the information and knowledge acquired can lead you to number of opportunities in the long run.
5) Endeavor to look at the good and positive side of every situation.
6) Recognize your areas of attaining happiness and try to have the opportunity to find that area by one way or the other; in order to focus on the positive things in your life and will lead you to continued happiness.
7) Refresh yourself everyday through indulging in whatever you love to do whether it is to read a few pages of an inspiring book or article, to watch funny comedies, to listen to relaxing, uplifting music.
8) Refrain yourself from involving in negative notions. If you think negative, negative happens.
9) Happiness is contagious. Be surrounded by positive people who always try to spread the positive waves that are conductive to happiness.
10) Maintain your health, is another way to achieve happiness. Run, jog, go to the gym or do something that stimulates the endorphins in your body and off course, eat nutritious food.
11) Never miss a chance to applaud, always find the opportunity to appreciate people, their qualities, traits, achievements and endeavors.
12) Focus on your achievements and solutions not the problems.
13) Everyday try to do something that scares you which will instill confidence within you.
